PARENTS HAVE FREE NEW TOOL IN 2012 TO SEARCH AND SCHEDULE SUMMER CAMPS FOR KIDS
CampEasy is a new (and the only) free search-and-decision engine for parents planning summer camps for their kids.
Displaying current session info, CampEasy allows parents to search for camps for multiple kids at the same time, and to filter results by proximity, time, cost and individual interests. Parents can save and share selections, and export them to their preferred calendar tool. At the same time, CampEasy provides camps with an unmatched marketing channel, giving their sessions visibility during parents’ critical decision-making moments.
CampEasy was co-founded by former NBC correspondent Brooke Salkoff. The website grew out of her own experience scheduling summer camps for kids, and her research revealing widespread frustration with parents’ lack of online help. “Our research showed that parents in our area spend more on summer camps every year than on airfares,” Brooke said. “And until now there has been no equivalent to Kayak.com, Expedia or Orbitz to help parents find the best options for them.”
